Bio-T kit® Tristar Covid-19

This triplex one-step RT-PCR kit is composed of a ready-to-use Master Mix and allows the real-time detection of 2 genes in a single step: 

• the E gene common to all Sarbecoviruses, including SARS-CoV-2,
• the ORF1ab (RdRp) gene, specific to SARS-CoV-2.

This kit also includes an IPC, a positive internal control, to be added to the extraction.

This kit is produced under license from Institut Pasteur and is CE-IVD marked. It has also undergone a performance evaluation by the French National Reference Centre for Respiratory Infections Viruses. The report is available on the website of the French Microbiology Society (SFM).

The kit is compatible with any thermocycler with at least the FAM, VIC, and Cy5 reading channels (e.g. ABI PRISM 7500,7500 FAST, CFX, AriaMX^TM, LigthCycler, QuantStudio⁵, MX3005, etc.).
