qPCR-Premium® EIV

The qPCR-Premium^® EIV kit makes it possible to detect in the same reaction well, the presence of:

• EIV virus (genetic target: M gene) (6-FAM), 
• An endogenous internal positive control (IPC) present in equine somatic cells (genetic target gapdh) (Cy5), 

It also makes it possible to quantify the viral load in the number of viral particles per swab in a relative way. 

Sampling types : 

• Nasopharyngeal swabs
• Storage of samples: at 4°C for a maximum of 7 days or -20°C beyond
