SARS-CoV-2 detection by saliva sampling
For saliva sampling, we propose our Saliva Collection Kit. It consists of a tube with a funnel and a tube containing the transport medium, which ensures the inactivation of the virus and the preservation of the pathogen genome.
Our BioExtract® Premium Mag kit allows the extraction of nucleic acids. It is suitable for SARS-CoV-2 detection. It has two extraction programs (24 or 40 minutes) with equivalent efficiency. The reagents provided in the kit are ready to use. The kit can be used on KingFisherTM ML, Duo, Flex, 96, Pureprep 96 or equivalent.
Our Bio-T kit® TriStar Covid-19 kit allows the detection of 2 genes: the E gene (FAM) common to all Sarbecovirus, including SARS-CoV-2, and the ORF1ab gene (VIC) specific to SARS-CoV-2. This kit also includes an exogenous IPC internal positive control (Cy5) to be added at the extraction stage. It is compatible with most thermocyclers on the market and it bears the CE-IVD mark on the nasopharyngeal swab and saliva versions.
